Chris (DH) dreams of building, but in land-locked (and dry climate) Colorado, it is hard to justify. Before we became parents (pre 2001), we used to visit Brooklin and stay at a B&B there. We roamed around the grounds and buildings at Woodenboat a lot! Much time in Mystic and Bristol, too. I still have some purpleheart shavings that I gathered off the floor during the making of the keel for the Amistad. Great memories! These days, we have two little glass day sailors - a Vagabond and a West White Potter (hull 215). I hope I got all that right, as Chris is the Captain of our seas. LOL! Well, back to the TieTie blog, as I cannot wait to see your Gotcha! Love and fair winds and smooth sails from Colorado, Holly (mom to 3 from Jiangxi, and a big fan of your sweet TieTie for the last 5+ years!)Hollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02047180657686158228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757951767882768623.post-62426644330250068042008-06-24T08:28:00.000-07:002008-06-24T08:28:00.000-07:00I'm rereading your book for the second time and dr...I'm rereading your book for the second time and dreaming about boats again; this seems to happen every June.

The website looks good and I'm looking forward to reading more on the blog.

Would you consider posting some more pictures and a description of GEM? There are some pictures of her in the book, but I'd like more details on the design.Bentonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12535892742289390472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757951767882768623.post-874105971099683712008-03-24T16:38:00.000-07:002008-03-24T16:38:00.000-07:00Great pictures of Somes Sound 12 1/2.
